Originally when Episode 6 was in production George Lucas had decided on naming it “Revenge” of the Jedi, something that sounded a bit extreme for a group of people that were supposed to keep the peace in the galaxy.
Posters and some advertising were created with the alternate title and distributed to theaters, some of these posters survive to this day and due to the altered title have more value then original Return of the Jedi posters.
Even more rare are Revenge of the Jedi posters with Luke and Vader’s lightsaber colors being reversed. Luke’s is Sith red and Vader’s is guardian blue.
